Moving from paper to digital site diaries

Our site managers still keep handwritten diaries for weather, workforce, deliveries and incidents. When a dispute arises months later, finding the right page is slow, and some entries are hard to read.

We tested a tablet app on one project. Photos with timestamps and location turned out to be the most valuable feature, especially for documenting delays caused by others. Adoption among older foremen was the main challenge. How did you roll out digital reporting across sites without creating double work?
